Some Funny Pet Pics

Post by Tambrey »

My Bootiful Boy Gump decided he needed to rest on top of my cardfile box...hahaha...funny thing is, he managed to NOT knock the can of furniture spray that i had left sitting there to dust/polish that buffet!!, and the box is only abut 18 inches long, and the can of polish was on that box with him

This is the Baby Kitty Playing Peek-A-Boo...I am not sure if that is Sarah or Sissy in the chair with her

That cracks me up, that they gather together by color! Do they always do that, or was it just luck of the draw?

Often times I will find them grouped by colour...I am not sure why they do that...there was also the black group one day, but they moved before I got the camera and got back there...

That's really funny. How many cats do you have, total?

uummm...yellow cats---Gypsy, Tiglet and Roo

tortuiseshell calico --- Callie and Skittles, and currently Snickers in the spare room...she is the pregnant injured cat...she broke her right front leg and her pelvis a few weeks back...

black cats---Sarah, Majik and Sissy

Grey Tabby's---Cuddles and the Baby

Siamese Mix --- Gump

that makes....12...and a few more on the way...but I would LOVE to find good permanent homes for Tiglet, Majik and Sissy, Cuddles and Baby and Snickers and her upcoming brood...

We bring in sick/injured ferals, nurse them back ot health, get them spayed/neutered and up on shots and all that...then get attached when we really should be finding permanent homes...my DH says I am too picky in selecting the people and homes...but they are like my babies...I want only the best for them...not just someone who wants a farm cat...

edit let's make that 15 cats...well, 3 are newborn kittens...sometime this afternoon Snickers had her babies...they are fine and healthy...a yellow tabby, a gray tabby with white feet and a solid black one...that one is a bit smaller so I want to keep an eye on it...but theya re all warm and dry and vocal...
Snickers is a great momma so I trust her to do good with these three...and they should have a better chance than any of her other litters because I was able t get her inside and keep her inside for this one...so she has eaten better and slept better and not have to worry about protecting herself as well...

LOL, I totally understand. I was really irritated a while back when I tried adopting a cat from a local rescue and got the major runaround and ultimately was denied -- because we were subleasing the apartment at the time, and the shelter woman didn't believe that we were really authorized to have a pet since the lease wasn't in our name. I can understand why, though; you just get so attached to the furry little guys, and you can't bear to think of them going to anything other than a perfect home.

Sean says just because he rescued Izzy, it doesn't mean that I can take in every stray cat I see... I think he knows me too well... :D

I have to agree - except for the one tortoiseshell in the laundry basket - that one doesn't look too happy!
