I have a new vet who specializes in cats. He has been doing some work and studies in using birth control, one tablet per week in the treatment of things like cat allergies, stomatitis. We have been giving Vest one pill per week with great results and also another patient of his that has a stomatitis type allergy, not stomatitus but it causes that type of problem in the mouth and he is having great results. I just wanted to share this with you.
Also, another question... What are the requiurements in the US to get a Vet Tech degree? How long does it take and what kind of basic ed college requirements does one need?
Thanks so much.

Hey Sarah,
Interesting....do you know the name of the med/birth control?
Everything you need to know about veterinary technology....prerequisites include college math, science and english, you could get those out of the way at any time. There are two-year and four-year programs, depending on the college, and the degree you seek, you may even be able to take courses online. The link above should include information you need...
