Has anyone litterbox trained a dog?

Well, they really haven't been used, but I have been diligent about leaving a light on in the laundry room where the doggy door is. I put up a big sign reminding DH to leave it on (he took the sign down...got the idea). The pads will stay down until the holidays for my own sanity!

I read somewhere else that a steam cleaner actually makes the smell worse...maybe that was my problem...too much cleaning!
