Hi everyone. I posted a few weeks back saying I was nervous about moving to a new apartment with my kittens. I was afraid they would be freaked out and have accidents on the nice new carpets. Well, not only was the move successful but my kitties did great! They didn't seem at all concerned and settled right in. The boy, Salem, was a little bit afraid of the ceiling fans at first but he doesn't mind them now. Here are a few pics of Salem and Baby helping me move
Baby says, I fit in this box!
Salem says, Don't forget to pack me!
Baby says, Want me to help you move the couch?
Salem says, Was this for clothes? I thought it was for me.
Salem and Baby check out the view from their new apartment
Everyone is tired after the big day

Great pics! And another wonderful post/thread. Cats are soooo much more adaptable than noncatpeople think, aren't they?

Yup, the kitties did way better than I thought they would. The day of the move was a crazy one and I'm sure they were confused. Since everyone was coming in and out carrying boxes, bins, furniture, etc, they spent a lot of the day locked in the bathroom. They are indoor kitties so obviously I didn't want them to escape
When they got to the new apartment the boy, Salem, immediately hid under the bed. He's more timid than his sister so it took him a half hour or so before he came out to look around. Baby on the other hand immediately began running all around, jumping from counter to counter, exploring every where. She was very excited
But they are both settled in now and they seem to like this apartment much better than my last. It's bigger and it has a lot more windows so they can see what's going on outside.
