I have a 9 1/2 year old mountian cur whos been through a bunch. Her previous owner (my grandma) died and she was sent to us and then he sister died, she hasnt been looking too good, or eating well, we also have a 7 mon. old puppy that she runs with...could it be the heat or what
this is her...i know she looks good...but she doesnt act it
I'm really worried about tinker
Please have a vet appointment scheduled for her. In her age this should anyway be done regularly.
How long ago did your grandma and her sister die? She is probably grieving the loss.
Emotional stress can lead to other diseases such as infections etc.
In any case a vet will be able to help you best, determine her overall health status and find out if there's any physical cause for her not eating and looking poorly.
I'm sure your grandma will be happy to see that you're taking good care of her.
If she's physically in the clear give her lots of TLC. It will take time to get over it.

Re: I'm really worried about tinker
Any time a pet is showing obvious sudden health changes, it's time to get them seen by your vet. Don't wait on this, get her seen immediately.
