Sleeping well?
Sleeping well?
Little Noodle likes to sleep on my husbands small rucksack that's on top of the cupboard. It's really too small for her, she doesn't have any space left, almost rolls down the sides. Why do cats do that? If it was because of his scent (she adores him!) she could sleep next to him on the pillow or on his shirt on the chair ... but always this rucksack. Sooo happy when she's on there Do your cats also do that?
Re: Sleeping well?
My Bessie with jump into any box that is brought into the house. She will curl up in it and go to sleep....even a shoebox. There is a box from the grocery store that she loves so we keep it on the kitchen table and she will join us for meals by sleeping in it with her head resting on the sharp edge of the box. I have a picture of this. If I can learn how to send pics I'll do it. She won't eat people food at all and she is very selective about cat food. She won't play with toys either except those tiny rabbit fur mice. She loves to toss them in the air and stalk them and then she will hide them til they are all gone. Whenever we pick up a yardstick she goes crazy, knowing that we will try to find them and retrieve them for her. Then she starts all over again.
Cats really do have some intriguing habits!

I keep the carriers in a large utility-type sort of closet off of my kitchen. They are on the second highest shelf. All but one of the carriers is zipped shut ... because that's the place my Mitzi retreats to. I was getting something one day and just felt these eyes on me, looked up and there were two shiney copper eyes staring at me through the mesh.
Now if I had to get her into the carrier for a vet visit ... that would be another story!

Re: Sleeping well?
No, you have to schedule the vet visit for when she sleeps in there

Ash, what the heck is a rucksack??
Re: Sleeping well?
A back pack? Is that how you call it? What the bombers in London used to carry their bombs onto the tube. (I know, not a nice way to explain this, but that is so fresh in my mind still.)

Re: Sleeping well?
Ok.....makes sense. I'm going to call it that from now on because it sounds so much better.
