"A friend asked me to stop by his house last night and when I got there I was greeted by the howling and barking of his two new dogs. After he quieted them down I asked what their names were. He responded that one was named Rolex and the other was named Timex."

No, not at all.
However, I can't claim ownership of it. A stained glass supplier I buy from sends out emails each week or so with their sales and specials. The emails usually start off with a joke and the boss being the butt of it. The actual joke reads "The Boss" where I substituted "my friend" with.
They are all around nice folks so I doubt they would mind.

Oh, you do stained glass? My Dad did, too. He made a gorgeous hanging lamp for my kitchen years ago, and later started one for my dining room, but he got ill and passed away before he finished it. Then my SIL started to learn it and was going to finish it, but then decided she wanted a divorce. So I think it is still sitting in Mom's basement. It was just beautiful...

Hi Marty ... I've been glassing for 8 years now. It's an expensive hobby but I'd rather think of it as occupational therapy.

Oh yes, some of that is much more than a hobby! After he retired, my Dad took up oil painting, stained glass and fine woodworking (he made us a grandfather clock). Excelled at them all! Mom made silver jewelry for years.
There is a man here in town who made stained glass windows for a new church. I'm pretty sure the lamp was my Dad's own design, so I'm not sure anyone else would want to try to finish it. Maybe someday I will look into it.
