4lb puppy won't eat, from the pound
Aside from him going to the vet when I get paid, we got a pup from the pound. He is drinking fine but won't eat a thing. Only had him about 48 hours. I tried wet food, puppy food (he ate about 10 pieces on yesterday morning), chicken, rice. He is very thin but other than sleeping alot he turns his nose up at anything you put in front of him. Any suggestions until he goes to the doc? He pees regularly. His poop is like water. Thanks. Poor thing, God knows what he got at the pound. He does have some energy and wants to play but for only a short time and then he sleeps again.

How old is he? He could have an intestinal infection or something more serious, we can't tell online. You really should have him seen by a vet. Talk to your vet about delayed payment, a post-dated check or instalments, many vets will do that. Call around until you find one that does it.
Also, call the Pound or drop by and have them listed for you what vaccinations, medication (if any), or prior illnesses he had, if he was de-wromed, and also which food he was on, and take all that info with you to the vet. You should also inform the people at the Pound about his condition, they might have more dogs there with the same problem.
Good luck! Don't delay this. And keep us updated!

Get your puppy to a vet IMMEDIATELY! Watery diarrhea is NOT a sign of good health, your puppy needs to be seen by a competent vet, tested for and vaccinated for parvo, etc, accordingly. Shelter environments are notorious for parvo and distemper, so don't wait another minute, get your pup to a vet RIGHT NOW.
