HA, been there, done that. Cere was only a couple weeks old when she was brought in on emergency...her rescuers had a home lined up for her when she was old enough, but agreed that I would take her home nightly as opposed to being in the clinic every day...I took her home with me every night and weekend until she was about 6 weeks old. I'm sure you can imagine my nervousness on the day I asked them if I could keep her, but what on earth should we tell the children who had been waiting for her to get big and healthy enough to "come home"? Oh the predicament.Tambrey wrote:so now she was wondering what to tell those people she had lined up for the kittens...hopefully these kittens can go!!
As luck would have it, they explained to the children that Cere needed special care, but there was a new precious kitten available at the clinic, did they want him? (duh, of course).
I'm sure your new neighbor would be delighted to help find your babies new homes, and that those she had lined up would be equally delighted with your babies, how could they resist those fiesty little darlings!!
