grrrrr....they make me so mad! My nieces fiance came down with her this past weekend to pick up my parents and take them out to lunch. When they came into the house my niece saw the fosters and started making oh and ah comments about their cuteness. I told her I was fixing to take them back up the vet so they could get them ready for adoption (finally!) and then the fiance (clint) commented "I can get rid of them faster than that for you" with a smirk on his face. At that moment I turned to him, stuck my finger in his face and said "those comments are NOT allowed in this house and you will make no more" He was obviously taken aback by a women speaking so sternly to him (good!)

They went to lunch while I took the kittens to the vet...when I returned they were already back and in the house...when I walked in my nieces fiance stood up and told her it was time to go home But...before I got here my hubby said "clint" sat down in Frodo's favorite chair and Frodo did her typical bolt for the chair to sit in whoever's lap occupies it. Hubby said he thought clint was going to jump through the roof....bwahahahahaha. I told my brother this story and he said "he's scared of cats?? What a wuss!!"

He was rude and had no business making a comment like that in your home none the less. This guy is rude and has no respect or mannors. How dare he be a guest in your home and speak like that? Also, he is not an immediate member of the family either, the nerve! I would never invite him over again, ever. Tell your neice to come solo next time. Sometimes cats can weed out those we should not spend time around anyway. Sheesh. Unbelievable.

A couple of years ago I was in the parking garage of a very nice mall, I passed a brand new, huge, black SUV (they are even more expensive here in Argentina, double the price in the US), mint condition and it had a bumper sticker on the back. It said something like, if you can't find your cat look under my tires. I did not care who saw me I just ripped it right off that SUV. I was so upset. I wanted to do more to that darn SUV but my s/o pulled me away. I imagine the surprise when they returned to their prized SUV sans sticker, lol! I have no tollerance for cat haters. Hate cats, hate me.
