that is sad...I hope that animal control and police are cracking down on trying to find and arrest these horrible people and help save whatever dogs they can and stop the breeding and disease

When you think about it, which is worse, the vendors selling puppies, or the people who are buying and spending large amount of money for them on the street next to Kmart and not bothering to check references, let alone wondering why anyone in their right mind would sell a "pure-bred" on the street.

While the selling of sick puppies is deplorable, and while the scam of selling pure-breds is deplorable, it is also the responsibility of the people to check references, validate papers, request proof of veterinary records before a sale. It is also the responsibility of the people to question why the puppies are sold in this manner, then to promptly report the "vendors". If they're next to a Kmart, they could have went inside, used the phone to report a scam or contact the local animal shelter or law enforcement.

Traci, you said exactly what I was thinking. The mother is an attorney and I would think she really should have known better. Nowadays information is so easily accessible.....
