I have two things to say about that.

First, so they were ill-prepared. So what. Next time, I'd wager they go in with loaded guns.

Second, they weren't the only ones ill-prepared. Obviously, the CA courts weren't either.

Wonder if the judge is related to Ito?

I didn't read the whole thing..

But I don't understand what they were trying to accomplish. To claim a homeopathic "remedy" manufacturer is making a fraudulent product when it is currently legal to do so doesn't make sense. It's just like the tobacco companies, you won't get rid of tabacco until FDA declares it an illegal drug. Same goes with homeopathy - FDA has to change the initial ruling that makes these worthless treatments legal in the first place. It looks like more scrutiny is being placed on alternative "treatments" in general and health fraud so hopefully soon they tackle this issue.

I did read the entire thing, and there are too many loopholes in the court system. Notice how the judge viewed the homeopathic MD as the most credentialed in the court room. (oh, puhleeeze #-o )

I checked out the "quackpotwatch" site..

Post by BoxerTom »

Turns out the entire site is from Tim Bolen, one of the quackateers(involved with lunatic quack Hulda Clark as well as others). If you read some of the bizarre ramblings from this nut you see why he's so threatened and paranoid about quackwatch!
