Watery eye

Miss Kitty's left eye keeps tearing up. It looks like she's crying. There appears to be absolutely nothing wrong with the eye, but little teardrops keep coming out of the corner. Strange. Do cat's catch colds like humans? I'm going to have it checked, but was wondering if anyone knows what this could be. Thank you. Paulette

It could be anything from a scratch, foreign body, to a blocked tear duct or upper respiratory infection...only way to know is through an exam, and possibly a quick corneal stain test.
