I am highly skeptical of website claims. I think I would have to see the records for that one. The oldest dog on record was either an Australian Shepherd or Cattle dog that died at 29 1/2 years of age. All documented and recorded in the Guiness book of records.

group with an agenda, ie vegan, i would be very carefull of accepting it as true,not that vegans would be predjudiced but they may be trying to sell their ideas...

I third the motion, the picture doesn't tell the story (pic is really iffy anyway).

I can't imagine this dog surviving on only rice, lentils and vegetables and being in optimal health at any part of his life.
