This was something I got from one of the Doberman people on another message board. It's something like 8 parts water to 2 parts Listerine in a spray bottle.
It takes any soap residue out and leaves them very shiny (especially a black coat). It may kill germs also, but I tend to doubt that it could in it's diluted form. I started using it when Crystal had staph.
I made a 50/50 Listerene/water mix and sprayed it on a rash Mick had a few weeks ago (in addition to the anti fungal- anti bacterial shampoo from the vet). I keep a travel size bottle of original Listerene in Mick's first aid kit to use as a disinfectant in a pinch. I got the idea from my sister, who is an RN.
