Just like Christmas for the kitties!!

Post by Tina B and crew »

I just cleaned out under my stove

The cats think it's Christmas with the number of toys I pulled out :)

But that's nothing compared to the number I found under my sofa when I moved it a while back. I counted no less than 20 fur mice

Ohhh...hahaha....I am going to do that all today...I can only imagine the number of toys I will find...

But in the kitchen...their favourite toy is the little ring from around the milk jug top...it has gotten to when we open a jug of milk, we just toss that ring onto the floor rather than into the garbage...LOL...because soon after they begin to play with it, it goes under the stove, or if they manage to get one into the living room...under the couch!

Oh yes...those wonderful milk cap rings. Unfortunately the milk we buy has the kind that doesn't come off in a complete ring. It's not the same as a the ring which slides across the floor so nicely.

aahhhh....you have the ones like aroudnorange juice lids...the ones you rip around the top...no, I cannot imagine they would be any fun at all...

our cats toss the rings into the air, flip them with their paws...it is fun to watch them play...hahaha...as my former husband used to say...

Chauncey has to have the twist ties that come on the bags of bread. If I don't give it to him to carry around in his mouth, he will climb into the garbage can and get it out himself!!!! I find those things everywhere, and if he sees me try to throw one out, forget it!!!

But I too can relate to cleaning the toys out from under the fridge. The cats have a field day!!!!

Just a precaution folks, please supervise the cats when allowing them to play with milk jug rings, and especially twisty-ties. These can easily be chewed or swallowed, and could block the airway.

I'll second Traci on that one, especially the twist ties. I have to keep the twist ties away from our cats because Khanada did eat one once. Fortunately it came out the other end with no incidence, but I throw them away as soon as I'm finished with them now.

I never had any trouble with the milk rings, but I won't let them play with the ones that come on our milk now. I'm always too afraid they will try to eat it since it's not a "ring"

I watch him closely......especially when he first started playing with them. But he never chews them, he just bats them around and carries them around.... :D
