I love these.....

I absolutely love the way she came out in these artsy photos you've been posting. Have you enlarged any? I would enter one of them in a photo contest. They have a very unique quality and the shadowy effect gives a wonderful character to the prints.
Was this color film you used or B/W? I would love to duplicate that look and get a nice photo of Shelby in those brown tones.

Thanks, ShelbyMom.. haven't enlarged any but I'll check into that when I take the negatives into a lab.

These photos were taken on color print film, indoors with available light. It was early winter and the sun was coming in the picture window above and behaind Roxy which explains the high contrast shadows. I think it also accounts for the low saturation color.

Thanks. Mary - I think I was interupting her morning nap-time with the camera but she was always a great sport and never complained.

Thanks, momPaws - doing okay, not exactly great but okay..it's been almost 3 months since we lost Roxy and it's still incomprehensible that she's not here.

I have to agree, it's a lovely picture with a distinct "artsy" feel too it- almost like an old sepia photo. Im so glad you found that "lost" roll of film.

It doesn't seem possible that three months has gone by already. Hang in there!
