Kya - you did the best you could. You got her to the vet and had her looked after. There's nothing else you could have done. One of my cats passed away when she was about 9 years old. She seemed perfectly healthy but the past few months, her weight decreased. She was about 13 pounds to start off with, pure muscle, and then over the months, she went down to about 7 pounds. The vet said that her numbers (whatever that means) were so high, they didn't understand how she could have survived so we had to put her down. I cried for months after that (and still do).
