I have to admit I haven't been reading much of the board lately because I can't take any more heart ache. We've been dealing with some strays in back of our store and despite their cries from the cold and hunger, my rescue attempts haven't been successful enough.

Thank you Tina for being who and what you are to the furries of the world! I love that this story turned out to be a happy one and do hope the owners will contact you to thank you. I truly hope your scenario of how Ozzy got out is true and they don't let him roam outdoors.

Yes .... and they are all "too busy, too full, short-handed ..." While I'm sure it's true, my response has become "yeah well, who isn't?"

We found out there's an elderly man a few doors down who houses a few cats in his garage. While his efforts are there in keeping them fed, he's not doing much more to help control the population. I suspect this is where they are hiding out when they are not behind our store. I've left a message for him to contact us regarding the situation and will ask his permission to let me on his property to set up traps. Actually knowing me the way you do, I'll do it with or without his permission.
