Hello
My inside cat of over 10 years has been living under my neighbor's shed for over 10 days now. The shed sits about 5 inches off the ground, and is about 20 feet long and 6 feet wide. (there is a limo inside) He got out once before, I put food in a trap and I got him the next night. Now he has gotten smarter.
Since I have put the trap out at night, I have caught two neighborhood cats and last night a possum. When you try to scare him to one end, he merely goes to the middle of the shed and runs back and forth width wise.
I know that a snare would not be helpful. As the weather gets colder I am afraid he will die under there.
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks so much for any advice!

Get someone to help you. Ask the neighbor for help.
Tempt him with fishy-smelling foods such as tuna, salmon, or try fresh warm cream.
When you do get him out of there, take every measure to ensure he doesn't get out again. Is there a screen, window, etc in your house he keeps escaping from? If so, close it off.
