Hi JMM...I hope that they are able to come up with something that helps Mikey.
Joy
Cyclosporine
Re: Cyclosporine
Thanks, Joy.
M's cyclosporine level is still not therapeutic so we've increased his dose to 15 mg BID and will retest next week. We're also starting B-vit (Thiamine and B12) injections today and we'll do that once a week. He's getting 0.1 reglan and 0.16 benadryl SQ about once a day and that has helped his vomiting a lot. For his more severe pain or disorientation episodes, I'm suppose to give him 0.5 mg of torbutrol as needed to keep him comfortable.
I only got to speak to his internist very briefly this week, but will run the other opinions by hernext week. His regular vet doesn't think there is anything more that would be appropriate with his other problems short of the options we've already lines up.
