She was taken in by one shelter from another that was going to put her down due to a severely infected eye from a bad URI. She was treated at the clinic I work part time at and I just had to have her....very sweet and affectionate.
The night I took her home I realized her remaining eye was teary and by the next morning she was sneezing. My vet at the clinic looked her over and prescribed eye medication and clavamox for her. She is still playing and eating well, so hopefully this won't progress too far.
She is very happy being out of cages and roaming freely (very freely,, LOL!) in the bedroom for now. I will wait for her to stop sneezing before bringing her out.
She loves to head butt and snuggle. She doesn't stay in one spot for very long, but loves being close. She will run across the bed and head butt head on full speed ahead.....or...she will full speed ahead charge up to me and punch me in the face. Doesn't hurt now, but I gotta work on curbing that...when she's older that may not be in my best interest, LOL! Another thing to curb is the usual clutch the wrist, bite the hand and tear to shreds the forearm with back legs thing kittens seem to love to do. Other than that she is so very affectionate, trusting and sweet....and chock full of energy. By now she is 13 weeks.
