Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday! Mr. Blue wasn't too...

Post by Mary Plummer »

...happy this morning. It's the end of the semester at our university, and my hubby has to work today and tomorrow. I drove him in this morning (we're a one-car family), because I knew I'd need the car to go shopping, which is what I'm putting off even as I type 8) When I got back home, poor Mr. Blue was absolutely thrilled to see me, but went over to the door leading to our garage. He was waiting for my hubby, and when I said he was at work, Mr. Blue gave the most pathetic little whine/squeal, and came back to me with his tail down and a totally dejected look on his face. So I promised him I'd buy him a new squeaky toy today. That will help; now maybe some really good chocolates for my hubby...

Jason and Traci, thanks for all the work on the new boards! I'm glad people have found their way here, and I love the features!

You have to change your jobs and lifestyle so that Mr. Blue is NEVER left alone and both of you are always with him.

...I suspect both the mortgage company and Ford would object to the plan if they didn't get paid. I also haven't yet figured out how to win the lottery without buying tickets :D

Mary- Honey does guilt trips, too. When I got back home today she let out the most mournful howl. But I had a cute little toy to give her to lessen my guilt for not taking her. She perked up in an instant!
The quote below is SO Honey, but reminds me of what you say about Mr. Blue being goofy! :!:

That's a perfect quote, momPaws! They do perk up quick...

...from their disappointment, which is good. I know my hubby will be flattered to hear how much Mr. Blue missed him this AM, too, and he sure will get a good greeting when he gets home! BTW, I love your avatar; I think it was the perfect choice!
