For two days, Mom kept the door shut between them, then we (Mom, hubby and me, in case a fight broke out!) let Smokey out...Shiloh went and sniffed, tail puffed out, but never any growling or hissing, Smokey was too busy sniffing the food dish to bother with Shiloh...Most of the rest of the day went fine, Mom had to use a water bottle a couple of times as Shiloh was going a bit overboard in stating his dominance in the household
and when Mom wen to bed, she did shut Smokey back into the room alone to give them both a break as they were getting on each others nerves!! She is gradually let Smokey out for longer periods as they get more used to each other...I need to take the digital camera up and get some pics of these two...it is amazing how one cat can give off so many different coloured kittens in the same litter
However, the mom of these two is pretty consistent in colours being shades of black white and grey! I guess she chooses her "mates" according to their colouring...who knows!!
