Flea control

Hi. I have some Advantage flea control that my friend gave me. It is for cats. I have dogs. Is there a difference? Can I use it on my dogs? Thanks, Diane

I would not....dosages are different for dogs depending on size, as well as it is different for cats...

Your best bet is to take your dog to your vet and he/she will determine what the right flea control to use as well as the proper dosage...

My dogs are small. This stuff is for over 9lbs. My dogs are between 13 and 15 lbs. Are the ingredients the same?

Then you cn click to read ingredients for the different sizes and for cats and dogs...according to their site, it is all the same...BUT...I would still personally prefer to take my dog to the vet to ensure the correct dosage...

You are welcome...but remember, if you use it on your dog and the results are not as you expect, or he has a reaction to it...well..you are taking a big risk and I just hope everything turns out okay...
