Some new pics
Just got my digi back out of the shop! Glad to have it back home again!
Um, Skittle? That sofa is plenty big enough to stretch out on, isn't it?
Ohhhhh, I see the problem! A tad bit crowded, are we?!
Now that's a sofa full 'o' pups!
Lori Ann wearing her new 'test' tag necklace (she wears it when she wears her silk martingale collar out on the town).
Uh huh. Trying to eat a snack by myself when suddenly tag teamed (they know it's 100% effective on begging).

Re: Some new pics
Cute pics...and love the captions...
We have a cat names Skittles...she is a tortuiseshell calico. Her mom is also a tortuiseshell calico we named Snickers, because of her colouring...and since Skittles was so skittish when she first started coming around on our back porch (Mom is semi-feral) we thought it only appropriate to stick with candies and name her Skittles.
Skittles is now inside all the time and drives us nuts!! She is a lap kitty 100%...

Everybody's great, thanks for asking! The black dog begging with Lori Ann is my oldest daughter's dog, Raven, whom I have taken in for the last time (it will be a cold day in hell before she gets her back), so we're up to the insane 7 here now. How is Mr. Mick doing?MicksMom wrote:Great pics, as always, DeVon! Your crew looks wonderful. Everybody OK?
I lost our last two rattie girls within a day of each other a couple of months ago But they were over 3 years old and certainly lived a long full life. I think we're done with the smaller pets for now. Just too much heartache with such short lives.
Re: Some new pics
Thanks for the sweet pics - good to see Skittles and all again. I am trying to post here rather than on Kevin's because I'm using a half***ed Mac laptop w/dead battery... it keeps cutting out at odd times. I had the knee procedure Friday and am doing quite well, all considered. I'm up and about with a walker - tedious for someone used to moving quickly but gets me there, that is as long as I stay downstairs... which is the bad part since what I care most about is upstairs: files, regular computer, scanner, printer, reference books... and my Serta But as I say, I am basically okay and definitely counting blessings... Frances missed us and by the time Ivan makes up its mind I'll be able to drive (not my '95 Aerostar though... there is some opinion getting in and out of that thing is what "blew" my knee in the first place ) Winnie and Q were upset at first about me staying downstairs, but they also seem to be adapting.

PS: DeVon thanks also for pics sent to Auntie Nan... I do not know how to message here or email... maybe will learn after we get the battery replaced.

E's, If you want to private message someone on the board, just click on their "PM" button below that person's post, and you'll be taken to a message text box so you can send them a message. You have to be logged in though to see the PM button.
Oh, and get well soon!

Thanks - I'll think about it, and may try,but what I meant was that everything on this silly little machine is strange and dicey... not the board.E's, If you want to private message someone on the board, just click on their "PM" button below that person's post, and you'll be taken to a message text box so you can send them a message. Raven looks like such a sweetie! She's lucky "grandma" is around to help her. How old is she?
Mick's doing great, despite the laryngeal paralysis. This was taken a couple of weeks ago. How about Toby? How's he doing?
So sorry about the rats. They certainly don't live long enough, do they? I never did get more after I lost Tuff. I do have a somewhat new addition, tho. Ken & I bought a pretty little broken fawn Mini Rex rabbit last August. He doesn't snuggle like the last one we had, but he's a sweetie. He was a year old the beginning of May.

Awwww, that Mick is still a handsome boy!!!!!!! Raven turned 11 this past spring, can't remember the exact day my oldest picked her out of the litter. Toby is great, definitely showing his age, but still full of beans!!!! He's done very well on the glycoflex and the vetri-disc for his hips/back. No flareups for over a year now. He's still miffed about being the only 'man' in a house full of women doggies and humans!!!!MicksMom wrote:Raven looks like such a sweetie! She's lucky "grandma" is around to help her.
