I just wanted to know what products you are using and would recommend to other kitten/cat owners.
Here is the stuff I am using but am looking to change or upgrade because I just chose some of these on whim and don't know how high they rank compared to other products.

1. Cat Food
Dry: Purina Kitten Chow and Royal Canin Kitten 34 Formula(I was told that Purina is bad because it has by-products as its main ingredient but my kitten seems to like it more. I guess it's the same with humans and burgers)
Wet: Iams Kitten Mix and some other brand that started with "Grandma's". I switched to Iams and was surprised because it looks like mush. I am now impressed by the "Grandma" stuff I was recommended before because it looked almost like human food.

2. Cat Treats
I just bought the Friskies brand Chicken Soft and Chicken Crunchy w/ Tartar Control because they listed chicken as the main ingredient.

3. Litter
I have used Arm & Hammer Crystal Blend (looks like sand) and Fresh Steps Crystal Blend. I am leaning towards the Fresh Steps Crystals but it is kind of expensive.

4. Litter Box
The standard tray with a shallow splash guard. I just read about a "sifting" box and also the automatic ones I use to see on TV. I am highly interested in upgrading in this department.

Dry Purina is okay, I feed the kitten formula to my kittens and the sensitive system formular to my older cats. Iams kitten canned is good too. Most of the kitten canned food is in a pate' form (mush). I've never heard of the "Grandma's" brand you speak of. Be careful with foods that are "all natural" as the ingredients may be too rich for your kittens system. I found this to be true with the diarrhea my kittens were having associated with an all natural food.

2. Cat Treats
I just bought the Friskies brand Chicken Soft and Chicken Crunchy w/ Tartar Control because they listed chicken as the main ingredient.

On occasion I'll give my cats Pounce Tartar Control treats (crunchy) but only as a reward and not very often. These bagged treats may list chicken as a main ingredient but are loaded with allot of filler crap.

3. Litter
I have used Arm & Hammer Crystal Blend (looks like sand) and Fresh Steps Crystal Blend. I am leaning towards the Fresh Steps Crystals but it is kind of expensive.

Don't use the scoopable or clumping litter just yet. The fine sand particles aren't good for kitties respiratory systems. Right now I use Tidy Cats with crystals for multiple cats. My older cats use a scoopable and I'll probably switch the kittens when they are closer to a year old.

4. Litter Box
The standard tray with a shallow splash guard. I just read about a "sifting" box and also the automatic ones I use to see on TV. I am highly interested in upgrading in this department.

The sifting box is good but again, don't use scoopable/fine litter just yet. I thought about investing in the automatic ones but honestly I don't trust them and would be fearful of kitty getting caught in it. That's just me though and given the cost of one, I'd rather spend the money on their food instead.
Hope this helps, good luck. Also, be sure to post any non-feline health related topics, pictures, etc. over in Debbie's Cloud in the future.

Thanks,
Cleo

I'm posting a few links below where some of your topics have been discussed. These are move relevant for cats rather than kittens though..

I tried the sifter litter box without success..I went back to my old reliable litter box with high sides and a lid...

I had an automatic litter box (won't give the brand, but it retailed for around $90). I hated that thing! It didn't work well and smelled horrible. It would clump up around the grate. I finally just threw the thing out. I prefer the regular litter boxes with the open top/sides that clip on.
