Are my cats bengal cats?

Unless you know if their sire or queen were part bengal, I wouldn't think they are bengal. Maybe British or American shorthair, maybe Birman.

I don't know who their parents were,got them at Petsmart last july.I just thought that they were bengals because of their striping,somewhat of a brown tinge to their underside and the floret(sp?) type spots on their rear,shoulders,back end and streipes on their stomach.Also because of the way Dexter lies down(like the spinx in egypt) on the ground.He usually has his 2 front paws crossed over and his rear legs out to the side kinda like a tiger does,plus he has big paws and a thick furred tail.Nigel on the other hand is more seal point,kinda like a siamese cat.He has the same markings as Dexter but doesn't act like him.He's a bit more rambunctious(sp?) and a character.Their hair is wierd.They look like a tabby's type hair but wirey, has a texture that I've never seen before on a short hair cat.
