Hi, everyone! :D

This is my first time here! I have 2 cats (actually one of them is my fiance's cat). I have a orange tabby name, Jingle & American Wirehair female cat name, Puddin'. I just adopted Jingle in December & he just became one year old last month & Puddin' is going to be 10 next month.

Jingle is a little devil around here! He loves to chase Puddin' around the house & bite her neck. Once in a while, he would attack her while she's asleep. Puddin' hates it so much & she don't even like him

Puddin' doesn't like any of cats that she meets. She's picky cat! She doesn't even like to be held either. But she's really smart & she understood what's the rules around here!

Jingle is afraid of almost everything like thunderstorms, men, strangers, bathtub water running & loud 18-wheelers trucks goes by our house. he would run under my bed & stay there for a while. My fiance called him "Mama's boy" because I keep spoiling him all the times. Puddin' isn't afraid of anything except water spray-bottle.

I did enjoy reading your messages on the board about your cats - it's really neat to hear another stories beside mine. Hope to hear from you!

My cats are just too dern passive - they don't mind strangers, thunderstorms, torrential downpours beating down on the roof (or watching them from an open window), or even fireworks.

But I have another quirk to add to this growing list:

My cat Rolly, I think, is schizophrenic - one minute he'll be a big crybaby and meow at me if I so much as stroke his back, and the next he'll be nuzzling me and making that adorable high-pitched vibrating noise in his throat that cats make when they're either happy or want something. If I start petting him and scratching his back or rubbing his stomach, he starts purring like a jet engine and he slobbers...a LOT.

The drool will literally drip from his mouth when he's in a state of what I refer to as "kitty ecstacy"...and when he finally settles down my hands and arms are usually soaked with drool XD XD.

He's such a baby.

.............

LinZ - just recently had a ritual bathing in Rolly's profuse drool

Gremlin and Yoda each have thier own specifics...

Every evening when I run my bath, Gremlin expects her soda bottles to be filled with hot water, even if it is 90 degrees outside, and she will sit in my lap on the edge of the tub and watch me fill the bottles, then she runs to her nest to curl up on them...

Yoda will go lay with her until I have finished washing my hair and face, them as soon as I lay back to relax, I see a black and white head peek over the tub and hear a motor going...I reach down and he jumps into my hand, then curls up on my chest and proceeds to give himself a bath before curling up to go to sleep...

My 11 month old calico Scuttle does more than chase her tail. She will spend most of the morning and late evening looking over her shoulder at it and growling, hissing and literally attacking herself. Sometimes she bites herself on the hind foot so hard that she howls in pain . . .what is up with that CAT!!! Its like she really would rather not have a tail! Its hilarious to watch, but if she catches you watching her do that, she will wait until you turn your head and then run up and bite you on the tender part of the back upper arm. Its quite frightening, ROFL . . . She knows EXACTLY where to bite where it hurts the most!! What a nut. If you offer her your hand or something else to bite, she will do that too, but still wait until you aren't looking and "get you" on the back of the arm for thinking her tail attack is funny. Silly cat. Oh . . she's scared of thunderstorms too and will climb in my lap for protection or hide under the bed. If it storms at night, she gets right under my chin.

We can't leave dresser drawers open and turn our backs because she will climb in quick as a wink and hide under the clothes. We lost her for a few hours one day. She thought it was the best game of all!

My cat Loki curls up around my head at bedtime and sleeps there. Sometimes he'll take his paws and pad at my head and separate my hair. I think he thinks I am his mama and he is looking for a nipple! He'll also climbs the screen door. It is funny, but at the same time makes me so mad.

Odin will weave in and out of my legs when I am standing anywhere. Every few weaves he'll either bite my toes or he'll bite my calf. Not hard, just playful I think, wanting me to pet him.
