Hello everyone! We got back safe and sound last night
We had a marvelous trip! The wedding was marvelous, and Mr. Blue did really well on the drives (about 10 hours each way). He proceded to steal hearts all across the country, making friends every place we stopped! Virginia is really a beautiful state! I wish we could have stayed long enough to see the sights, but it sure was great having the whole family together. That doesn't happen too much anymore. Hope you all had joyous 4th's!

Welcome back....and glad you had a good time! Yes, Virginia is a pretty state. I think,(maybe wrongly), that it is where we saw some underground caverns when the younguns were small. Awesome! Was Mr. Blue bothered by the fireworks?

I love Virginia. If it weren't for the high taxes and cost of living, I would move there.

Have you considered Tennessee? Except for not having an ocean, it's just as beautiful and the climate's the same. I've lived in both, and I think I'm allergic to every native plant in both states!TheSkeptic wrote:I love Virginia. If it weren't for the high taxes and cost of living, I would move there.

Yes we are considering Tennesee -- The chatanooga area is reasonably close to Louisiana and has MOUNTAINS!!!
