Another Stray S.O.S.

Post by MA »

I don't have a clue for this one, can anyone help? Sometimes I am sorry my email is so accessible, as I feel helpless when I can't help these people----

Please help me...

there is a stray cat in my neighborhood who has no hair from the
middle of her back up to her head... her skin looks like one of those
chinese
dogs...
the bottom half of her still has hair... she is very friendly,
walking around and seems to feel o.k...

what can I do for her?

any help would be greatly appreciated..

also, I have two indoor cats, and I don't want to get them sick....

Ideally, trapping kitty and a vet check, mostly because she needs to find out if this were a trauma-related incident, or if it is a parasitic or other problem. Is the skin healthy looking? If not, to the vet. Is there any visible signs of trauma or cuts/wounds on the back? If so, to the vet. Hard to advise without information like this...
