A number of years ago I adopted a little Lhasa--I guess he's about 12 years old now. At his recent vet check, the vet noticed that both his eardrums were punctured.
How does this happen?
Is he totally deaf now? (he never did come when called, but that was okay)
Will his eardrums heal, like they do sometimes in people?
thank you,
William
My elderly lhasa has punctured ear drums...I have questions
Re: My elderly lhasa has punctured ear drums...I have questi
will they heal????good question but no real answewr.depends on the cause of the rupture, mine got busted in high school and healed fine but that was from trausm...to have them both rupture is kinda weird..it is probably a congenttal cause or disease cause for which i doubt that there is any chance of healing but that does not mean they won't heal...all i can say is this is weird and the out comes is also weird and up in the air...let us know the outcome if there e ever is one...
