Can I use no-tears baby shampoo on my 4 yr old lab's face?

Just wondered... I have regular dog shampoo, but it doesn't say anything about use around the face/eyes. I also have Johnson &Johnson no more tears baby shampoo--can I use the J&J around the face/eyes of my lab to get rid of the "dried ice cream" (can you guess what "empty carton" DS gave the lab?) Thank you

Baby shampoo is very drying to the coat. Absolutely Natural makes a really nice, gentle, tearless shampoo. On a lab, a wet washcloth would probably clean up the face just fine.
