Kinda pointless but you can come here and talk about your cat's quirks and funny antics. *I apologize if there are other topics like this one. It's a newbie thing to repeat shtuff*

Mollie is a 13-year-old orange tabby cat with stunning green eyes. He likes to chase imaginary things and loves to play with long hair, twist ties, and rubber bands. He also has a thing for junk food. He likes to dunk his feet in his water bowl and lick the water off rather than drink; when he does drink it's out of the sink or de-humidifier. And he has developed an amazing talent for scratching his "armpit" with his back leg

Caspurr is a 5-year-old grey and white "tuxedo" cat. She's like a ragdoll - if you throw her in the air she doesn't flip over to land on her feet; she completely trusts me and will just flop right down. She also likes to grab hold of the side of the couch and drag herself along the floor with her claws.

Rolly is a 5-year-old black and white spotted cat. He's Caspurr's brother. Granted I have never in my life seen Rolly eat; he even turns his nose up at turkey! But he is so big; he probably weighs 25 pounds. He has the biggest feet I've ever seen on a cat and they're sooo cute. Rolly likes to meow a lot too. You don't even need to touch him - if you attempt to pet him he meows. He also likes to wipe saliva on your face and arms and throw himself on you when you're trying to work.

Fun topic!!

Booker is a perfect black and white tuxedo cat. She's about 4 or 5 years old. She enjoys being queen of the household and pestering. She drools if you pet her too much and loves nothing more than to sit in her daddy's lap.

D'Artagnan is just about 2 years old. He is solid black. He enjoys playing with Q-tips and trash paper. He's also a fan of toy mice.

Chauncey is my orange-and-white striped, 1.5 year old baby. My boyfriend has a VERY loud sneeze, and every single time he sneezes, Chauncey "chatters"...the noise he makes when he is trying to imitate birds, if anyone else's cat does that....and he continues to "chatter" for about a minute afterwards! Even if he is in a deep sleep when Matt sneezes, he still does it. It is hysterical!!!

Chessa is my 1.5 year old tuxedo cat, Chauncey's "sister" (although they really aren't blood siblings) She likes to walk backwards...I have no idea why!!!

Isn't it funny how each cat has it's own distinct personality???

First time poster!...Glad to be here.....

Quirks!? Where do i start!

My wife and I had tried to have children for 4 years and after long hours of discussion have decided to persue careers and travel. But we also decided to take on 3 kittens! All 3 from the same litter and all males. ( And i put emphasis on the ALL) They are about 8 months now and have been an absolute joy to watch grow. Buck is all tiger with wonderful coloring, the other two, Bentley and Buddy, are white with large spots of tiger. All 3 have tiger tails, Buddy however, is the only one with the very tip of it looking as if it was dipped in a jar of white paint.
Buck loves to chase a laser pointer to the point where it gets tough for him to breathe...he is non-stop!. He also likes to climb into the suspended ceiling in the kitchen and chase mice. Unfortunately when he does this he takes out almost every tile he runs on.lol
Bentley is the runt of the 2, but is doing right now what he usually does when i am sitting here. He is sitting on top of the monitor, swatting at the mouse pointer, making it very tough for me to do this!...lol
Buddy is the love bug of the 3, allowing us to handle him however we want, and has an extremely loud motor when purring. We have givin him the "buddy Love" nickname from the nutty proffessor.
They bring joy to my wife and I always, even when they are being a bit mischievous. They are, after all, our children!..lol

Princess is a little over a year old and is a mouse gray with short hair and some white markings. She enjoys nudging and rubbing against everything in sight and rolling on her back. She nudges things so much she often knocks over lamps and speakers.. anything in her path. :P Sometimes when she's rolling on her back on the computer desk she's so silly she rolls right off of it. :P She is a picky eater and refuses to eat but only one type of kitty treat. Sometimes while you're petting her if you start to walk away she will get mad and bat at you. :P


Muffin is a little under a year old and is a long haired dark gray with some black areas and white around her eyes. She has an enormously long and fluffy tail and slithers around like a racoon. She's anti-social to both other cats and people (except for me, hehe) and is obsessed with drinking running water. The few times she does feel social though, she likes to be the center of attention. She's very jealous. Whenever I'm petting her, if I start to also pet one of the other kitties she looks over there and quickly turns her head and gets up and walks away. She thinks she's a model and likes to do all these cute poses everywhere she sits. She also enjoys trying to climb a wooden post we have and sunbathing in the windowsill. Her favorite toy is chasing a flashlight beam or hiding in a paper bag. :P


Tessie is a smaller kitten and is about 4-5 months old. She is an all white short haired (is princess's daughter) and is chubby. She has an enormous appetite and loves food overly much. She tries to steal the other kitties treats and if you try to hold her back she'll mew in a really sad tone and fight to get to them. Her favorite activity is moth hunting. Whenever there's one in the room I'll hold her up to it as it flies around and she'll bat at it. Whenever I pick her up now she starts looking up with a happy and curious expression thinking we're going moth hunting again. (: She also enjoys waking me up nearly every morning by putting her wet nose against my face and nuzzling me and purring.

Boy, you sure have that nailed, Jason! There isn't one thing on this string that at least one of my eight cats have. Some have quite a few of them, too. It'd take me forever to talk about my cats, so I'm gonna go thru' my photo box and see what I can come up with.

well...the best quirk of my cats is from Cricket..she sucks her own nipple...it's quite amusing to watch her try to get comfy and root around on her own belly.

Hehe, that sounds EXACTLY like my aunt's cat Shenzi (yes, named after the hyena from the Lion King...). She too is a tuxedo cat who loves attention and drools when she gets too much of it and loves to make a nest in your lap and is also kind of a "queen", or as my aunt calls her, a "prissy kitty"

Ok, we have 3 cats. Patches, Trouble and Fred.
Patches is my buddy. She is 16 years old this year and we have been inseparable for all 16 years. I even put her in our divorce papers LOL.
When it's time for me to wake up, she takes her paw and gently scrapes my face with her claws. If I don't wake up, it gets a little harder, and if I STILL don't wake up, she takes a claw and grabs the edge of my nose and PULLS.

Trouble..is just that. This is the MEANEST cat I have ever owned. She is a LARGE tuxedo cat with an ATTITUDE. She growls if you pet her too much (she hates being pet below the head, don't touch her body)...But if she wants to cuddle she moves into your lap and gets mad if you don't pet her. She will only drink out of the bathroom sink faucet. Also gets mad if you are not there to turn it on...She's just a long story LOL...Also loves to sleep sprawled out on her back in the middle of the floor.

Fred...is retarded...he's hilarious. Mr. Personality. He will only drink out of the toilet. Will run by you, and jump up and grab you as he goes..he's about 1 year old and jet black. He was a stray wandering around the hotel here. If your back is turned to him and he wants you to pet him..he climbs up on something then JUMPS on your back. He has a facination with the closet, runs in everytime I open it, climbs UP the clothes and knocks things off of the top shelf..the boy is NOT right LOL....

Anyway these are my kids and I love them all...glad to share with you.
