I took her in this morning to have a cyst on her elbow drained and biopsied. The cyst was the size of a grape.
The vet said the fluid had some blood in it. She's not limping and her front legs appear normal. The cyst didn't seem to bother her when he squeezed it.
He put her on antibiotics for a week. He said it looks like she banged her elbow on hard concrete. Should I be worried about this??

That depends on what the vet finds. If it is from an injury, then I wouldn't worry about it.
Re: New Dobie puppy has an elbow cyst
Given her age, it would be unusual for a cyst to be anything too serious, could be just a cutaneous cyst/lesion or even a lick granuloma that was infected. If it was blood-filled and soft, that is a better indication rather than bloodless and hard.
Try not to worry. Post the biopsy results when you know.
