What should I do?
What should I do?
I am a new cat owner. My cat is a female and I don't know how old she is but I don't believe she's too old. The problem I have is she is urinating in the corners in the rooms of my house. She is has no problems using the litterbox but she has started this new habit and still uses the litterbox. Why is she doing this and what can I do? Thanks for any help.
Re: What should I do?
you i going to have to confine her for a while, except whenyour are right with her and keep little boxes in the confined area...also it sometimes help to put regular dirt or soil in the liter bos=xes so she thinkgs she is still in the great outdorrs, if cats think like that...but you gotta percevier..

Re: What should I do?
I would get the cat checked for a urinary tract infection and urinary crystals just to be sure. Inappropriate urination is one of the most common symptoms in these conditions, both which can be treated, and both which can be very dangerous to the cat's welfare. Then, if that's clear, it could be the type of litter you are using. Good luck, but please get kitty checked by a vet. kk
