My little girl April Love, an Irish Setter, is now 7 years old. 7 months ago she began getting up at all hours of the early AM whining and pawing for someone. I thought it for attention as a new pet came into the home. A month ago she started having seizures. I am in the process of doing all the "right things". (blood work etc.) Her behavior has changed and people say - "Oh, for the good." Upon educating myself on seizures her changes MAY not be so good at all. I've been in tears ever since.
Oh yes, I know, not to jump to conclusions, but my little girl is not so little any more and I am so freightened.

Re: My Little Girl - April Love
All the best for your little girl and don't panic yet. I know of dogs that had lived a long time with siezures. We have one now who has A Siezure every year at the same time. Weird. ....
We also have dogs that had frequent siezures, but who now are siezure free. Who knows why. ....
You are taking the right steps to care for your girl.
Again here is hoping that it isns't something real bad and that she is better soon.
