Ant Killer

Post by dklass »

This isn't a health problem yet thank god, but I need to know if there are any ant killers that are safe, but effective for me to use in my house with my 3 cats running around. When we have heavy rains there are always lots of ants that come in from somewhere. Please help I'm desperate.

Hi,

Perhaps someone else can give you better info than I can, since I don't know of any safe ant killers. I'm in a temporary apt and we had a horrible ant problem a few weeks ago after a lot of rain. I could not find any ant killer that I felt would be safe, so I just bought some of those plastic bait traps and put them in places where my kitty cannot get to them. Sometimes, I had to put them along a wall where the ant trails ran, so I'd put something partially on top to block her from getting near it. Our problem has improved a lot. Have you sprayed outside your house around the perimeter? Good luck. kk
