Update on Shelby

I posted earlier about Shelby's Chronic Active Hepatitis. Her repeat bloodwork shows that the ALT is still elevated, but has come down from the previous test. She is on Denosyl, a liver antioxidant, for another month. She's also on a low protein Nature's Recipe diet.
She seems to be doing pretty well. Although she is skin and bones, she is eating well and her thirst seems to have diminished somewhat.
She's still here..........and I'm enjoying every minute we have together.

Thanks for the update. I think of you and Shelby often - I just hope that when the time comes for my big girl and me, I can have the wisdom and the courage you have shown.
