Sad news

Post by kerliz »

I posted back on here in February when my kitty, Parker, was sick and the vet I took him to said it was an Upper Respitory Infection. He never really got better, so I took him back to the same vet and he had a detached retina, still had the URI and also had lost two pounds since the last visit. They finally decided to test him for FIP and it was positive. Friday, my birthday, he was getting worse. And by Monday, he couldnt walk. Yesterday, I did the hardest thing I ever had to do. I decided that the best thing for him was to put him to sleep.

I am so incredibly sad. I miss him so much.

I'm so sorry over your loss of Parker. You've done all you could for him and I'm sure he loved you back for all your love and care. I will keep him in my prayers to find happiness across the bridge.
(((HUGS)))
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

I know how you must feel, I had to do that several years ago with a little toy poodle I adored. I believe that is the truest kind of love because you accepted the pain and freed Parker of it. I am sorry, just remember all the good times you had together and how much Parker loved you and how much you love him. There will be a brighter day, I will pray for you, Wanda
