Sick newborns!!

Ok well my cat had kittens about 8 days ago. she had 6 in all but lost 3. so one of the three she has isnt looking good. it is skinnier than the rest, weak, and doesnt seem to want to eat. what should i do?! i want to help her!

I'm sorry the kittens aren't doing well. At this age, it's so hard to save them. There could be something wrong with them, the mother's milk, lots of reasons. You could try taking them to your vet, especialy the mother to ensure that she is doing well and that her milk is good. well, now two of the three are sick. sometimes when you hold them they just go limp, like they're falling asleep, but then suddenly they will come back. but the third kitten is doing very well, its the only one with open eyes, and they're 11 days old. the third is very strong and sometimes the mother takes her to the corner of the closet and just nurses her, but im trying to keep a good eye on the rest. ill keep you posted. thanx!!

ok well, now i think the kittens are doing fine. they are all getting stronger!! used to, when you picked the two sick ones up they couldnt even grab my fingers with any grip, they were very weak, but now they are as strong as the third. one of the sick is starting to open her eyes, but one eye looks kind of *beep*, but that has happened with a kitten we had from another litter and we just cleaned it out and he was fine. well, hope im keeping you posted with more than enough info.
