My Kitten lost a tooth

I am a little worried, because my kitten has lost just a tooth. Is this normal, do kittens lose teeth like humans? Or is this a sign of a gum problem? Hes really into playing, and chewing on your hand, and he doesen't really care for dry hard food, he begs for human food. So should I be feeding it soft canned food?

they do loose teeth like pups and kids, you didn;'t mention the age but anywhere from 3 to 10 months is normal..if there are no other problems then put it under the kitten's pillow and wait for the tooth fairy---can't beleive i said that
