strange behavior

My 8 1/2 month old female gray tabby is acting peculiar. She has never been to a vet, but never goes outside. She lives with an 8 year old male cat that has been neutered. She has swollen lymph nodes around her nipples and she's making little noises and stretching out and generally not her usual self. Could this mean that she's in heat , or should I be concerned and take her to the vet?

I wouldn't dream of making speculations on your post.....get her to your vet immediately, always best to play it safe.
