I think you don't have to throw them away per se..... The fungus can be killed with a bleach solution - or cleaning them very good. I would think you could just clean them and keep them.

I would think a good cleaning with bleach as Susan said and a run through the dishwasher should do.

skin lesions also...also i beleive these new ethyl alcohol hand sanitizers (purell) work pretty good on you hands for disenfecting ...even better than washing
