I'm taking my cat to the vet in the next few days...
She's been sneezing for the past 3 days and it's getting worse..she only seems to sneeze when she is up. And some times her whole body shakes. She's still active and acting like she normally does. She seems to be breathing fine but I noticed that her purr is kinda raspy. A few days ago she was out playing in the garage...could this be causing it? Anyway..I think I'm going to be taking her to the vet this weekend, should I do anything before I take her? Will the vet need a stool sample?

I don't think I would wait another minute on this, get her to your vet ASAP. Since it's persisted for three days already, you don't want to wait until the weekend and you don't want it to get worse until then....get her seen by your vet immediately.

Not knowing the cause, it's hard to say....anything can happen.
As long as she is breathing normally, does not have blood or pus discharge from the nostrils, etc, she might do ok til the weekend, but if this is a viral or bacterial infection resulting from a viral, you'd want to get it treated immediately, so that further problems don't develop.

I made an appointment for 11:30 tomorrow. My poor little angel..I hope she'll be alright until then..her little nose is now runny.

Well, I took Velvet to the vet..she has an upper respiratory infection and he gave her some antihistamines. She's doing a lot better this morning.
