CAT or BIRD-WANNA-BE?

OK, this may be a silly question, but I was just wondering . . . Josie has been my first indoor cat, so I am seeing a lot more cat behavior than I had experienced before.

Josie makes this noise, I call it her bird noise . . . kind of the noise that you'd make by rolling your tongue . . . anyway, she does it alone, like she's talking to me . . . she can make it sound like a question . . . and she can combine it with a meow.

Anyone else's cat do this? It's so funny!
