Re: loud purrrr
if this purr is new (as in intensity) i would have her checked by a vet to be sure its not a sign of something else going on.
when was the last vet visit? how old is your kitten?

Re: loud purrrr
sorry jason, i just now saw your reply!! she went to the vet a few weeks ago when i first got her...but since i posted, i haven't noticed it anymore. i think she was just really excited. but i am on the look out for it again. maybe i over reacted but i can't help from loving her so much!!
Re: loud purrrr
i do that all the time, could of been temporary but continue to watch for it.lola wrote: i haven't noticed it anymore. i think she was just really excited. but i am on the look out for it again. maybe i over reacted
might want to look around or be attentive to surroundings if you see it happen again. my rocky sometimes will urinate on my bed (rarely) and since he had a history of crystals and had a p/u i was concerned. i investigated and discovered he does this when a racoon or other large animal trys to get into my screened back porch, so he is doing it for feeling of safety (doesnt mean i dont monitor him closely).
