We had adopted our first kitten in 05/03. She never had any health problems.
In November we adopted two more from rescue ppl. They wee sick from day one. It turned out that they were + for giardia, one had hookworm and the other pink eye. While running back and forth and vet doing tests, ect. my first kitten got sick to. She was + for giardia as well.
All were medicated and got better eventually.
2 weeks ago my first cat started to get sick again, tested + for giardia, again. Also had a pick eye and cold.
Last Friday Vet put all 3 on fragyl and vetrachloracin for the pink eye.
Since yesterday they all have bad diarrhea.
I just left a message w/the vet. I am really worried about them.
Why did the giardia come back? (They are only in door cats.)
I keep the litter boxes very clean at all times.
Please advise me.
