Some pics and prices to pay...

Post by TheSkeptic »

Got lucky with this one. Ginger perked up that one ear just as I snapped the picture. This is the first time she has done that, that I know of.

Here is a picture I took the other day during our after dinner constitutional in the yard. Most of the dogs are beginning ot head to the patio to go back inside.

Image

Here is Mr. Dawg pretending to be a lab doggy. Inky isn't happy because she wants to be by mommy too.

Image

Dottie was jealous also, but more perturbed because they were in HER spot on the sofa.

Image

Last night there were some suspicious noises from the neighbor's back yard. Bernie got on the house and began barking fiercely. Good Guard Dog Bernie!

Image

This afternoon the dogs spent mostly lazin in the yard. The return of 80 degree temps has slowed them down. The mud must feel cool on thier skin and tummies.....

They weren't completely sedentary. There was some running and sniffing around the yard.

Image

But there was a price to pay for all that lazin around in the mud!

Here is Prince contemplating the cost as he pays it.

Image

He decides it isn't so bad after all.

Image

I think Ivory differs in that assesment.

Image

Pea Pod and Apache sniff outside the door. Coco has already been there and stays back. They wonder what is going on in there.

Image

All too soon Pea Pod finds out.

Great pics, as always, Skeptic! Mr. Blue echoes the judgement of all your dogs who hate baths: none for me! He's very good at giving us the sad hound dog "I can't believe you're doing this to me" look when it's bath time!

Great pics- am jealous on 2 counts- 80 degrees AND that wonderful thick GREEN grass. Honey and I felt like it was spring today as we played in the yard and now it is snowing out there! Oh,well, spring is close by.

Very nice. Pics of "the crew" always cheer me up. My dog played in the backyard too (yes, northern friends, temp was in the 80s yesterday; I had the A/C on - Spring has definitely sprung in Sout' Louisianne, but sigh, it only lasts a couple weeks.) Win has never had a home bath though, poor thing... and rarely even one other pupper to play with.

Your posts are like reading fun little books with all the pics. LOL. Do you think you could send some of that warm weather up to TN? We had nice weather last weekend, but now it's really chilly.
