from it. Roxy and Ruby grabbin' some R&R ( about two years ago). Most of the pics on this roll are very dark, think I'll take the negs to a photo lab in Hollyweird and see if they can find a way to pull the dark areas.
Anyway, finding this roll of film was like finding treasure...

a real surprise for sure. It has a way of turning back time for a few seconds.
picture perfect contentment...

We're doing okay - still very sad, can't seem to get through a day without loosing it. But, we're slowly getting to a place where we're at peace with everything that had to happen.DeVon wrote:What a wonderful picture; thanks for posting that :D

Ruby still sleeps where she and Roxy used to bunk together. Ruby and Ringo are doing well - they're in love with each other. Moe, our old cat who helped with Roxy's re-hab 6 years ago is hangin' in there - Ruby still likes to pick on him, though. Some things never change.
Thanks for asking, DeVon....Jim
It did indeed pull at the heart, Traci. When I picked up the photos today, I was a little afraid to look at them - it was sad but also made us happy to see these pics of Roxer. Kind of a window to the past that we didn't have before.Traci wrote:Awww, JDF, I know that pulled at your heartstrings, what a great pic of them together...(((HUGS)))

What a treasure to find. .... Good luck getting them restored.
Re: TheSkeptic
Thanks, Skeptic - I think the guys at a lab I take my art photos to should be able to bump the negatives a little. I was using available light and most of the frames are dark with a capital D - I suspect the camera wasn't set on automatic. But in spite of that, these pics are still a treasure for sure.TheSkeptic wrote:What a treasure to find. .... Good luck getting them restored.
